TalentSprint WE (Women Engineers), supported by Google, aims to address the gender imbalance in technology by grooming promising talent among women engineering students to advance and contribute to the field.

This 1-year program provided at no cost is a combination of summer coding bootcamps, live online classes, ongoing mentorship, certification and team-based projects to enhance problem-solving and computational thinking. It also provides exemplary participants a chance to get career opportunities at Google and its partners.

The initiative builds upon TalentSprint's past experience with Women in Software Engineering (WISE), an innovative diversity program that produced many high-calibre women engineers who are now sought after by global technology firms.

TalentSprint WE (Women Engineers), supported by Google, is a program that provides an opportunity for talented and motivated women students who want to excel in the global tech industry.

Any women students pursuing her B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc., MCA or degree in Applied Maths or equivalent and graduating in 2020 or 2021 with over 70% marks in both X and XII are eligible to apply to the Program.

About the Program

It is a one-year experiential program that offers two bootcamps of one month each and year-long online learning, mentoring support from senior engineers at Google.

TalentSprint WE is fully sponsored by Google. 100% of the Program Fee will be paid by Google. In addition, each participant attending this program will receive a stipend of Rs. 1,00,000.

Both the bootcamps will be conducted in Hyderabad.

If you are an eligible woman college student graduating in 2020 or 2021, please visit and apply online for the program.

The application has two stages.
Stage 1: Fill up the form below (5 minutes).
Stage 2: Answer a few questions to detail your interest in Software Engineering (5 minutes).

Selected applicants who fulfil the criteria will be invited for the Assessment Process.

Selection Process

Application review will focus on

  • Eligibility criteria

Applications will be reviewed by Selection Committee and their decision is final.

There is a three-step selection process:

  • Application Review
  • Online Selection Test
  • Personal Interview

The final decision of selection rests with the Program Selection Committee.

There are limited seats for the Program. On getting communication on the Final Selection, you will be required to Enrol for the program within a specific time. In case you do not act / enroll on time, your seat may be released to other applicants.

All communication for the program will be done at your registered email address including the selection status.

Women students graduating in 2020/2021

  • Degrees: B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc, MCA
  • Streams: IT, CSE, ECE, EEE, Maths, Applied Maths or equivalent
  • Grade: Over 70% in both X and XII

Selection Test

  • The Selection Test can be taken at the comfort of your own place.
  • You need to have a Computer / Laptop with Camera, Mic, 2 MBPS internet connection and necessary Power Backup.
  • It will be a Proctored Test and the software will be able to track aspects like who is at the computer, or if any other browser is opened.
  • You need to carry any of your identity card to start your test

The online selection test will be of 100 minutes and will have 4 parts:

  • Reasoning & Problem Solving Skills: 25 questions to be answered in 40 minutes
  • Qualitative Reasoning: 3 questions to be answered in 10 minutes
  • Code Reading Skills: 5 questions in C, Python to be answered in 25 minutes
  • English Writing Skills: 200 word essay in English in 25 minutes

Code writing will not be assessed.

TalentSprint WE is best suited for those who have some programming knowledge and understanding. However, there is no need for any specific programming language. The code reading section can be from any programming language. It will test your understanding of programming basics and not coding skills.

A sample paper will be shared with those applicants who are invited for the Selection Test along with test schedule and details.

Selection test is scheduled to commence during the last week of April.


The interview is conducted to assess your communication skills, validate test performance and most importantly, your motivation and purpose behind attending this Program.

Final Selection will be done after the Interview. Those who are selected will be intimated directly and will be given an opportunity to Enroll for the Program.

Based on the performance of test participants, candidates will be shortlisted by the Selection Committee. Those who are shortlisted will be invited for the interview. The decision of the Selection Committee is final.

Interview will be held for applicants who have cleared their selection test. Exact date and time will be shared along with invitation for the interview.

Once shortlisted, the interview will be conducted online through Google Hangouts. We will share the details via email at your registered email address.

Program Schedule and Details

The two bootcamps of one-month each will be conducted at Hyderabad.

The batch will contain 100 women college students.

The June 2019 cohort with 100 participants is underway and details about the 2020 cohort to be announced soon.


Every enrolled student is eligible for a ₹100,000 stipend. The terms of payment of stipend and payment schedule will be communicated to each enrolled student.

Despite the fact that women famously played a pioneering role in the early decades of programming and technology, the participation of women engineers in the technology sector globally still only stands at 26%, as per the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The primary objective of this program is to address the gender imbalance in technology by grooming promising talent among women engineering students to advance and contribute to the field. Prioritising inclusion, the program is designed to support talented women engineers from under-privileged and disadvantaged backgrounds.
